Dear Readers,

This issue discusses interesting topics, namely the geopolitical thoughts of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), analysis of United States foreign policy in Iraq, Egyptian democracy after the Arab Spring, normalization of relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, efforts to form a Palestinian Unity Government, as well as the education crisis in Palestine. We hope these articles make a constructive contribution to Middle Eastern studies.
